Ok so has anyone purchased, or driven the Redcat vehicles? The truck looks like its a decent platform, with the exception of the 2.5mm chassis... ugh.. But the drive looks good, and the video of it is pretty cool.. it hauls 4ss.

I cant really find much information on them so far. Just curious

Yeah, thats the one, this site also sports their banner at the bottom of the page sometimes. I dunno, for $240 how bad can it be

I thought it looked pretty rippin'

It looks as though you may have a hard time with parts support. I don't know of any LHS that carries parts for the thing.

It looks Like a CEN or an ACME....as a hobby shop employee I will tell you this.

I DETEST hate and would like to see people who bring these type of cars into the shop hang by their toes while I help them.

Normal situation with off brand owner:

You didnt buy it from me and you expect for us to put effort into fixing it. So I invest time effort a couple of staples putting parts that dont fit back into bags, then switch brands and they dont work and the entire conversation ends in YEA your GOING to have to get the parts ONLINE......NO I DONT CARE YOU CANT FIND ANYTHING LOCALLY. BIG F*#K@NG Surprise now I have to get back to MY real customers. YEA I know it looked good for $240 but have fun watching it on the shelf while parts trickle in. NO I WONT TAKE IT AS A TRADE, are you crazy I cant support that thing. LETS buy the thing online and then expect support from the LHS who didnt get a sale and is, like any hobby shop, struggling a little.

WHEN THE LOCAL HOBBY SHOP IS NO LONGER AROUND.... REMEMBER THINGS LIKE THIS

This was not meant as a personal attack just a situation that happens all the time

Thank you. You said it perfectly, I can't tell you how many times I had the EXACT same conversation word for word.
