You guys that have Maxx wheels turned around backwards, how did you get the hex in the opposite side (outside of the wheel).

Thanks and pics are always nice

Backwards? How do you mean? The V-Groove tread pattern faces the opposite way? Its either swap tires side to side to reverse the pattern or peel them off the rims and mount them the other way around. I hope thats what you were looking for.

I think he means flipping the wheels inside out....to change the offset of the wheel....not the tires. It completely switches the offset of the wheels if you know how a stock maxx wheel is.

Yeah flipping the actual wheel, not tire. Hmmm, I thought I had seen them on a maxx or single nut type axle....

Hmm, I wonder if I could cut the area out of the front side of the maxx wheel into the hex shape and mount it like that. I'm trying to put these on a maxx by the way.

just turn the wheel around on the axle and take a marker and trace the hex on to the wheel. Pull it off and use a drimel and an exacto knife and you are done. I have done this several times before and it works great. Sorry i dont have any pics but i will get some for you all.

or why don't you just buy the IMEX pluto or the IMEX romulin wheels they have a 1/4 inch offset and they will look better than looking at the back side of a maxx wheel.

I don't know if I did the link right if all else fails copy and paste

here is a pic of my truck with the blue plutos they also come in polished and brushed

Yeah I've thought about those wheels and the ones listed on Imex's website, I just really can't find one that I like. I already had the Maxx wheels so I figured I would give them a try.
