Ridgerunner motor upgrades?

Hi guys I recently got a ridgerunner. Haven't done alot with it. Upgraded servos and wheels/tires, and when they get here I'll be adding high clearance links.

I've run it out in our local state lands and was pretty impressed with its capabilities with just a little modification. My only concern is the motors don't appear to be waterproof. They haven't died on me yet but they aren't happy after being submerged a couple times.

Is anyone aware of a 380 brushed waterproof motor out there? I'm having a hard time finding anything.

Links would be greatly appreciated

all brushed motors are waterproof

might need to add a few drops of oil on the bushings every so often
Good to know. When I talked to redcat they specifically said not to submerge it. But they also couldn't give me any info on the motor that comes with the ridgerunner. With that knowledge I would like to upgrade the motors from the stock ones. Any suggestions?

if you like the rig dont upgrade the motor those rigs arent the most durable rigs outhere

there great for what they are but they dont like upgrades

you can upgrade them though and when your fed up with the platform you can repurpose the parts to a better platform

there was a huge thread on it here on rcc it would be worth your time to read it before you do any upgrades
