This truck has been sitting on the bench for over a year. Figured it was time to finish it off. I built this one as a class 0 comp/trail truck. Started with the Marlin chassis and bed, 82 cab with engine bay and interior, and A&M garage bumpers. Should have some time on Saturday to get it outside.

Great looking TF2!!! I recently took my TF2 blazer for a shakedown and was contemplating the flat skid from A&M to get rid of the current anchor.

I have the A&M skid on my 4-door Mojave, and it gives it a nice tummy tuck. I went with the Bow House skid on this one. I have an overdrive transfer case that I might install, which I do not believe will work with the A&M.

Did you change anything to get that flex?

This one is setup spring under axle. I started with the Z-s2135 brackets. The bracket has a curve where the spring mounts, I file that flat and toss the plate below the spring pack. For the springs I start with the RC4WD super soft kit from the Marlin, and Hobby Park leaf spring kit from Amazon. This truck also has the Bow House rear spring hangers.

Front
Hobby park main with the longest RC4WD helper

Rear
RC4WD main with the shortest helper.

I never do the o-ring mod, and the only truck I do the chino mod is my sawback.

It finally arrived. First Boom kit, I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Selectable 2wd/4wd t-case, leaf springs for the rear, and a 1800kV Fusion. I thought I had an SSD spool and O/D gears for the axles, but I cannot find them.

So jealous you'll have yours built before I probably even touch mine again.....I still want to buy the 2wd/4wd case to add to my parts collection.......

Made a little progress this weekend and still trying to decide on a body. My thought was an 87 Toyota xtra cab, but I think the height and placement of the transmission will require cutting out a good portion if the dash. I need to pull the interior out of my 4Runner body to see how much I need to remove. Maybe a TF2 single speed transmission swap.

I do have the LC70 body but I am not feeling it
