Are the 1.9 versions really what everone says they are? I am using stock axial flatirons and like them but would like to get a little better tire. I have read that these are the ones. What does everyone else think?

I assume you are talking about using these for a scale build, so one thing you may want to think about is the look you are after. I think the Rok Lox are the best looking scale tire available, but compared to your Flatirons, they are VERY tall. If you have a scale truck that seems "right" on your Flatirons, then the Rok Lox could throw your look out the window.

Just something to think about.

There's 50 threads saying how great they are. So yes. ;)

Here's an unscientific comparison:

They don't work well in the mud that I find here. It's really sticky and they turn into slicks. The Flat Irons clear it easier/faster. The added height is nice though.
