Rock Crawler Chassis?

I have tamiya wild dagger and i want to make it a crawler I have been lurking around the forum for some time now and was wonder if this is a good crawling chassis ?

Just my .02 from a fellow Dagger owner. In stock form with stock 18t pinions the dagger is way too high geared for crawling. However, I would definetely try some Integy Lathe motors which should bring your speed down a bit. If that's still not enough, then you will have to try and shoehorn in some gear reductions...
My point is that I would spend your money on some Integy motors before buying a new chassis...
The chassis you posted does look killer tho, just not really set up for crawling. Personally, I would stick with the stock chassis since it's so light and the fact that you won't want to run 14.4volts anyways...

One more thing you said that the aluminum chassis would weight to much how bout this one its kinda same but carbon fiber

Between the 2 chassis you posted, I would choose the carbon one, just for the cool factor. However, I would still spend the money on the motors first and keep the stock chassis if it were me...

As far as the Spy ESC. No, I would not try it. It's not designed for 540 size motors, made for micros. Plus the BEC is only .5 amp, so if you run dual steering servos it would not be enough amperage. Go with a Super Rooster IMO.
