Hey guys im new as you can tell and ive been reading through a lot of these threads. So ill be picking up a crawler once i get the money (which wont be for a couple months cuz i need a job) and im pretty much set on getting a losi MRC but ive also thought about getting the Axial ARTR comp crawler or losi's comp crawler. I just wanted opinions on these crawlers and also recamendations, Like do i really need a dig setup on the Axial i mean i know that it will help with steering but do i really need it right away? Also if i do get one of the ARTRs what servo/motor etc. do you guys recamend? And how hard is it to waterproof these crawlers, because i have a pool in the backyard with a bunch of rocks and stuff that are cemented in so i could just crawl in my backyard and grandmothers with out the worry of ruining my new rock crawler because it tumbled. So any advice helps guys thanks

i have also priced the axial comp crawler with every thing i would need. and i think it would be a good set up what do you think?
(prices rounded)
Axial AX10 Scorpion Rock Crawler ARTR $250
Novak Rooster Crawler/55T Motor Combo $109
Hitec HS-5645MG $55
Futaba 2PH 2-Channel AM/1 S3003 Servo 67 $47
MaxAmps 1600mah - 9.6v battery pack lipo $35

Total $491

The Axial is a great starting rig you dont need dig right away but it is nice to have. if it was me i would go with the losi.

If you go with the axial then get a sidewinder of FXR and a holmes hobbies handwound motor
And a 3 chanel radio/reciever
may as well do it right the first time "thumbsup"
