Rubicon body options

Hey guys (and girls). I recently purchased an scx10 ii for my son. I had a wraith and was kinda wishing I had bought an scx10 for myself, while my son liked my wraith better. Long story short, we traded. Now I'm tying to figure out my body options. I definitely want a 4 door JK. I've looked around and all I can find is the proline lexan body. (Not into hard body's because I don't want to have to worry about scratching/breaking while on the rocks) but my question is, does this body fit the scx10 ii well? And I'm wanting to build it as a scaler, so those of you who own this body, does it look decently detailed? I haven't been able to look at one first hand. Just wanted some opinions before I jump out and order one.
I'm completely new to RC crawling so I apologize for my lack of knowledge lol.

There's the Pro-Line, as you mentioned. It has a wheel base of 317mm, and will probably fit the stock SCX-10 ii fairly well (stock WB is 313mm).

Or if you have the funds, you could go with the Axial Unlimited Rubicon body. It should fit the stock WB like a glove.
Part# AX04035 includes a molded roll cage, but not the roof wich is part# AX04034.
With the Axial body, you get a nice lexan interior. It also includes separate molded fender flares.

Worth checking out, but it is roughly double the price of the Pro-Line body.

So I planned on getting the Axial body emilsolbat suggested as it would work perfectly. I want something I can have an interior with and I really like the ability to cut the doors down to half doors and it still look decent. However now I'm back to square one. It seems this body is on back order until late may. Which is definitely too long for me. Anyone have any other suggestions? Realism is a must for me, and I'm really having a hard time finding something that fits the bill. I'm still scared to get a hard body because I don't want it to look like crap after rolling down a few big iron ore rocks, which will definitely happen on a regular basis.

Just so there is no confusion none of these bodies will fit the STOCK wheelbase. In fact the first and the last are so short it might be very hard to get them to work out without major modification. I cannot remember the length of the frame rails but that might be an issue on the first one.

I am running the Proline Revo Rubicon body. Used Jato length rod ends on just the axle end of my links and fits perfectly.

If you are set on that Axial body, you can piece it together by buying the cage sides, cage top, fender flares, body, and screws separately. It adds up to be pretty expensive if you do it that way though.

I was trying to figure this out 2 months ago. I found a painted, covered, and scratched up axial body on RC recycler. Later I saw the knight customs highline fenders and had to get them. Obviously I can't make my mind up on the look. Currently it's fox shocks but looking back at the 1st pics I'm not sure if I've gone the right way

can you tell me which ones or what an untouched newbright body like yours look like. or post a pic please. I know about the body you have but the only ones I see , acyually I have one, are the yellow, red,or green with no interior, tinted windows, and not as detailed as yours

I run a axial rubicon 4 door body on mine, the rear mounts was a pain, an had to also use jato ends on the upper an lower links to get the wheelbase just right, the front is a pc of cake, the rear gave me all the trouble

This is what an untouched one of mine looks like. Id love to find another but they stopped making them. Ive seen a few pop up here and there. Full detailed interior, removable top, axial role cage fits right in.

New Bright still sells a truck with the Jeep Rubicon Unlimited body, but the newer version doesn't have the interior. It has dark tinted windows.

The older models with the interior can be found at garage sells, thrift shops, etc for cheap if you are lucky. Otherwise they will typically sell for $150+ on ebay and other online crawler groups/forums.
