Rust Bucket TF2

2012-03-15_14-36-36_846.jpg

You nailed the rust effect especially with this photo...love the way you did it with the salt.

The body and effects look like this truck has been left outside for years and years...all i can say is WOW!!!!

Im going to try this on lexan and hope for the best.

GREAT JOB!!! and many thanks for sharing your technique."thumbsup"

Stuff works on almost any surface. I would make sure to prime the lexan first with a correct lexan paint. Then maybe use the primer they advertise. They sell and primer and sealer for this stuff. It is actually the same bottle. Lexan flexes so not sure what is going to happen....Might Work.."thumbsup" Thanx for the comments.

I havent ever seen a truck that rusty with a bed interior much for existent let alone all black and nice!! Killer job on the rust though. With that much rust it would be fitting to see some spots rusted through. the truck looks as though someone prepped it for paint and left it out at the coast primed for about 10 years.

I find trucks all the time here in Arkansas that are rusted like that.

The bed looks nice cause it was covered for years with a tonneau cover....."thumbsup" I am not really trying to win any scale contests or anything..I use the rust effect on other projects just thought I would give it a try on the TF2. Still got work to do to it...no time lately.:x
