RX10 rear wheel steering pictures and parts list?

I have spent several hours doing a search on rear wheel steering and the only good thread I found was:

and aaronlecain's picture is the only one I have been able to find, and that was using google for a search engine.

I have no intentions of competing and I just like the maneuverability there is with all wheel steering. I have a Futaba 4PL so I'm cover there and my approach would be just like aaronlecain but would like to see others. So please post pictures of you set up and a list of parts if you have the time.

Here is a list of parts:

AX80061 - Axial Knuckle (2)
AX80062 - Axial C-Hub (2)
AX30563 - Axial Universal Axle Shaft (2)
AX30558 - Axial Steering Servo Plate (optional to AX30559 which should be in the rear already)
AX30450 - Axial Flange (4)
AXA1230 - 10 x 15 x 4mm Bearing (2)
AXA1221 - 5 x 11 x 4mm Bearing (2)
AXA1218 - 5 x 10 x 4mm Bearing (2)
AX80063 - Axial Servo Mount (2)
AXA115 - Axial M3 x 10mm Screw (4)
AXA433 - Axial M6 x 6mm Screw (4)

The links will be depending on how you want to set up your steering.



On another note, can the search engine from here be use to look for words next to each other, like "rear steering" or "rear wheel steering". I know that in other sites I can use "+" to accomplished that but I can't get it to work here.

The easiest way to use the search function is to click through to the advanced search. That way you can specify how and what you want to search for.

The parts you will need to go rear steer are as follows.

AX80061. Axial Plastic Knuckles
AX80062. Axial Plastic C's
AX30563. Axial Universal Shaft set for XR10
AX30558. Axial Steering Servo Plate
AXA1230. 10 x 15 x 4mm Bearings (2 off)
AXA1221. 5 x 11 x 4mm Bearings (2 off)

Plus a couple of screws, some rod ends and a tie rod of your choosing.

There are upgrade parts to choose but these are the bare essentials to get it to where you want it.

I did use the advance search but I'm having trouble trying to figue out the filters, where I can only get results were both key words will appear next to each other.

for the posts you want to quote. Then when you hit reply the quotes will be in the reply field.


When searching I find it easier to search for title ony. The other thing to do is use a different term meaning the same thing. Ie you could search for. Rear steer or 4ws (four wheel steering). That was how I found the build thread. It is good to see you trying the search function as some new members do not even bother."thumbsup"

OK guys, since this is becoming a tutorial for me on learning how to use some of the options here, I promise to start a new thread once pictures start to appear and I will add the link at the top.

I'm new here but have been around forums for a long time, but rarely posted. Some of the forums I belong to, I have pay to be a member and they have very advance search engines, so it was frustrating when I was trying to apply some of their search formulas and nothing was working.

I have figure out how to multi quote from several posts, my problem was, I was trying to multi quote with in the same post, but I figured out how to manually do that by using [quote/].

Thank you for not trashing me, like I see it happen in others forums.
