Sacramento Scaler GTG/Comps

AREA 916 Scale Challenge 2012

OK guys, I'm getting closer to finalizing a 6 series scale challenge within a 60 minute drive from Sacramento. 3 @ Folsom Lake and 3 outside the lake so there won't be a $10 park fee. Starting in January to June 2012. We're also working on a web site for area916 "thumbsup"

We're thinking of the 3rd Sunday of each month. Rain or shine?? So far it looks like recon g6 is normally on the 1st sat of the month and team lerk is the 1st sun of ea month. I'm thinking the recon comp series is on saturdays also so sundays should work for "most".

BTW how many out there have Losi MRC's? I'd like to put them in with the scale challenge just like the Team Lerk guys.

It's all about fun and once it's no longer fun I'm OUT ;-)

Oppps the fine print.

up to 1.9 scale rigs. No comp chassis or moa's. It can be a full blown tube koh style rig as long as it's scale.
Gift cards for 1st-3rd from local hobby shops and random pulls from raffle tickets which each paid entry gets.
Peoples choice voted at each event and winner or 1st-3rd depending on how lucky I get from the LHS's and local vendors.

Feel free to PM me for misc details. I'll have a post up in the comp section within the next week or two.

One more thing. Since this will start on the 3rd weekend of January and the axial exo terra buggy should be out the 2nd week of January ?? Maybe we can have something for that before Parker gets to LOL

Get A Hobby Scaler DAY!! SAT.Dec 3rd

We need to have a good ol hang out and free crawl in nevada city so everyone can see the course. they do 2.2 comps every Wednesday and Friday, and have a consistent 14+ entry's. the course is big enough to run 2 courses at once with no interference. they would like to get a normal scale series going weekly and IT IS 45 MIN FROM ROSEVILLE AREA. they are great people and have a great shop so lets help support!!

here is a link to pics of the course: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/members/get-a-hobby-40331-albums1674.htm:mrgreen: p.s they do gift certifacates for the top competitors!!!"thumbsup"

Fvrr what about us guys that only have 2.2 rigs? you leaving us out? just askin"thumbsup"

Joe, it's just me and a couple of friends helping and we don't have Parker skills . Try and talk Eddie into a honcho, he'll use it about 5 times and you can use it the rest. I've seen a 1.9 wraith build which is pretty sick ;-) I've been talking to our guys for almost a year now and I still don't have what I want to do finalized yet but I better get to it, two months to go. Time will tell, just like G6. Took almost a year to get a full sheet for 2.2's
