Sacramento Scaler GTG/Comps

My dad was nice enough to grab me a set at ckrc and mail them to me for the vegas trip.

Nice, was just pming Lance a guy I met from UT during thanksgiving weekend at the lake and he said he mounted the claws up on a set of stock wheels and hasn't had any problems so I just did a wheels and may go that route. Might have to paint them black though. I ordered a couple sets of custom rigs from mthead after I sold you a set of stock wheels because I'm getting tired of spending 100 every time I get another set of custom wheels. BTW you going to cut out the small lugs? Most of the guys who do like the way they work but there are a few who don't that they seem to work ok after a little use.

I actually mounted them on the wheels I got from you with a set of mthead's rings.I was thinking it might be my aluminum wheels when they get wet they are allowing the bead to slip out. As far as cutting the lugs I have'nt decided some people are doing it and some are not I may just run them as they are and see how I like them.

Those tires are pretty sweet, work better after running in a bit though. What aluminum wheels were those?

goodluck to who ever is going to Vegas!! wish i could make it. take lots of pic

Ray's going so we should have lot's of pictures :ror: Oh wait, he's driving so  BUT looks like we'll be honored with some axial drivers so I'm sure there will be lot's of camera's. I wonder if we'll see the new wraith on the course :ror: 3 more days before our trek begins "thumbsup"

Well, after replacing the timing board on the motor, various rod ends and a full set of front wheel bearings, Ol'blue is ready for Vegas.
I also picked up the phone and got a few sponsors. ;-)

The location for the Las Vegas G6 Challenge is up.

Drive prudent and bring ya'll swim gear, the pool is ready and the jacuzzi is calling my name!

Oh my, we're about to get our scaler fix in the first ever Las Vegas G6!!!!!

We got a sneak peek! They made sure everyone had their cameras turned off etc because they have a media agreement with a company about the photos. Pretty cool but they still had no specific release date. Everyone got to hold it and take a closer look. Some new parts on that baby like axles and tranny looked a little different " also big props to sac scaler tom swanson for another podium finish in 3rd with the first and second place going to axial sponsored driver. G6 challenges are such a blast! Thanks again to the recon crew for another great adventure.
