Sam's Garage

Wow! It looks so different from that point of view.

I guess we all knew it had to be some sort of half open set up on a bench somewhere, but I'm a little dissappointed now. Seeing all the true to life scale stuff is sort of, ruined by the real thing now.

Keep the scale pics coming so I can get the reality out of my mind "thumbsup"

Thanks guys.

The man needed somewhere better to tinker with his RC stuff. Sam loves his modular furniture, so another trip to Crapea was in order!

Another fluro tube on the wall...our Sam is not one to use a spirit level!!

Thanks for looking folks.

Ok now this is just crazy!!! I will be really impressed though if you build another diorama inside your dioramas diorama.....

This is just INSANE! I LOVE the attention to detail! You should have posted the mini scale garage inside the scale garage pic insted of the real overall pic just to mess with peoples heads!

Beautiful work! Everything is just spot on! Its stuff like this that made me join this forum!

Sam's lovely lady has asked the question that haunts us all... so just what does it do? Who did let the dogs out?

Nice work Shannon.

Thanks guys.

Yeah Doug....and all the other questions they ask about this hobby:
Are you leaving that there?
You bought another one?

and of course the all time classic:

It cost HOW MUCH?!!!!!

Time for a small clean up 'round here. Time has taken its toll on the workspace a little, Sam is not known to be one to keep things tidy as he goes.

And plus he needs to make a bit of space for a little surprise he's got planned for Chell's birthday soon....

Sam: "Hey honey, I see you often flipping through my classic car trader mags. You interested in something?"

Chell: You know I've always loved old cars....like the old Ford my dad used to drive. Seems like I spent most of my childhood in that thing, getting dragged around to race meets or junkyards. I wish you could have met him. You two would have got on great getting your hands dirty out here in the garage."

Sam ponders for a moment, trying to pick his words right so as to not give away his plan.
"Well you're no spring chicken when it comes to finding your way around a motor. Say, why don't I keep my eye out for what's around. Maybe we could start a little resto project together? You know, to kinda honour your dad kind of thing?"

Chell: "Really?!! Oh that would be so great! Just imagine it....you and me, up to our elbows in a grand old ride, gettin' our hands dirty together. It would have to be something with a bit of class though. I know what you're like my Sam......I don't want no tired old rust bucket sitting in here that will fall apart if I just look at it! I want something that just needs a bit of work to get going."

Sam chuckles to himself.

"I can't wait!" beams Chell.........
