So Sam dragged the red heap of junk out of the space for a bit to play with a new toy....





Not much space, but he managed to get up a nice smooth hover. Not bad for a first timer! And all those heli guys tell us all the time about how much practice it takes.....SHEESH!!

One thing I've enjoyed about this build is finding everyday items that can be used....

So Sam thought it was about time to throw a little belated house warming get together....or should that be "garage warming"?!!!!

What better way to spend quality time with a group of friends than to have RC cars involved? Some space has been cleared and a little race track has been thrown together. Who knows....Sam may even start up his own little indoor racing series judging by the success of this meet!!







There's Cato on the left, the guy in the back is Mohinder and Chell and Dex you already know.



A good night of racing.





The limited space meant a tight track in places, but these guys are just running mostly stock anyway.

And Sam put on a bit of a spread. In the middle there is Katniss.



And of course what get together at Sam's would be complete without cupcakes?!!





And the shy guy in the back is Gale....oh and there's Cuddles the lovable Pitbull.



Chell brought along her cherished Portal Gun and the gang had a riot of a time playing with it, especially once the alcohol got flowing!!






For your info here.....the cars are from HO scale railways, the gas bottle for the BBQ was purchased as a raw cast which I painted. The food and drink items and cutlery were purchased and are meant for dollhouses. The BBQ itself was scratchbuilt. The esky (cooler on the floor) was scratchbuilt, stolen from my old Landcruiser.
