I went to test out the new, narrower stance today and I figured I would try out Sawnee as I am getting a bit tired of Buford Dam.

I would say that from the Bettis Tribble Gap Road parking lot there is roughly 1 mile of VERY easy hiking / walking to get to the top where the rocks are so I was happy to have a backpack with me.

This place is a good time and there is plenty of stuff to hit in several different directions, it would be a great place for scalers. I'm sure it would be quite fun with more people!

Sounds good to me.

I am probably going up there early tomorrow to test out a foam change. If anyone wanted to come on such notice let me know and we'll figure it out.

When we can get people together to go up there I think everyone will enjoy it.

I went today to test out my Dos Piezas foams I just put in, and I have to say they did awesome! These are definitely my favorite so far.

I live in cumming right off of Buford dam .. We should meet up sometime

Ben

That would be cool. I go a lot on the weekends in the mornings while my wife sleeps in and some more trucks would be nice. "thumbsup"

I go to Buford Dam a good bit and twice last weekend to Sawnee, which will now be my go to spot for weekend mornings with an occasional trip to Buford Dam.

I know some people want to do an afternoon at Sawnee in the next couple weeks too. Sunday afternoons I am usually free.

I live about 10 minutes away from here. I am having a YJ built for me by Colby, and I am going to look into getting me another CC01 so I would be down for a ride there

Does anyone have any directions or locations for Sawnwee and the dam? I in Cumming and just got a trx4 and am looking for good places.
