school bus runs over my daughter

Wow this sucks. Hope your girl has a speedy & full recovery.

Our public schools are just an extension of our government, like our government, they suck!

I hope and pray that your daughter is ok.
Geez Joe, give it a rest. Must of been Obama driving too huh? Move to fawking France already.

Sorry to hear this happened to your daughter. I can't begin to imagine how she is feeling right now, especially after telling you she'd had nightmares about the bus driver trying to kill her.

My heart goes out to your daughter and your family. As a parent, thinking about something like this happening is a parents worst nightmare, but to have it actually happen.....I can't even begin to imagine how you and your wife are feeling right now.

I certainly hope you can get a legal document drawn up preventing ANYONE at the school from discussing what happened with them. There is NO EXCUSE for that! The people at the school obviously know this is a legal matter, and by addressing your daughters WITHOUT parental consent is teetering on "witness tampering", I would think. If nothing else, its unethical to do so.

I do hope the bus drivers employment is terminated and the driver is banned from ever operating a school bus again. I know being unemployed stinks, but he has no business driving a bus load of kids if he can't pay FULL attention to them when he is picking them up in the morning or dropping them off at the end of the day.

Whether the driver was a School Employee or a Private Contractor employee, should not bare any weight on the Legal outcome of this. The school MUST be held accountable for the drivers actions, and they should be forced to pay ALL medical bills that have been or will be incurred as a result of her injuries.

I wish your daughter a full and speedy recovery, and will keep her and your family in my thoughts. Best of luck to all of you.
