Thanks for the pics. I appreciate it. I hope to get some time in tomorrow to test that steering setup.

Nice pics...It makes me jealous....I haven't ridden a quad in many years! As for the steering setup, I hit a wall. After getting it all mounted perfectly, I found a serious flaw. There is the smallest amount of slop in the rc4wd cvds...barely noticeable when you twist them in your hands. That slop equals almost a 1/4" of play once the servo horns are attached. I'm LIVID! I was going to post pics, but I'm playing with plan B and C and may revisit it if they don't work using axial universal shafts. DAMMIT! I should have an update tomorrow.
I have enjoyed the build and pics of your buggy."thumbsup" You did a great job. Would love to see a video of it at the spot you were at in the pic.
Can't wait to see what you do next.
Riding quads is a blast, it's something I'll probably do till I'm 80. The area I was riding was in middle / southern ish Ohio. Most people probably wouldn't think we have that kind of terrain either. Anyway how your steering works out, I've been dabbling with something myself today. When I get it squared away I'll drop you a line.
Thanks, I have been into RC for about 13 years but this was honesty my first time brazing or making a chassis. I do have another 1.9 Jeep jk I might post but I don't have any build progress pics.
Well I finally got some video of my rig, it's not the best quality though using my Droid. X . If played on HQ on YouTube it looks better. Coming this winter I plan to make some changes to the rig and plan to get a Go Pro camera and I'll post my updates and some good quality vids that last longer than 30 seconds.

For ur 1st time brazing and building a tube frame. Its just amazing looking rig you have there
'Bout time! Nice to see the rig in action. In the next videos you take, put the camera on the ground and get up real close to the action, you'll be amazed at how realistic the rig will look. Also, if you have any editing software, try slowing the action down by 1/4 or 1/2. "thumbsup"
watched all 4 vids. Not only does it look good but it also crawls excellent!!
