screamin II

I don't know what it is about rigs on a table...but I LOVE it! Nice bunch of toys there! "thumbsup"

The blue Jeep is also mine and that was the first time I got together with a group of fellow toy builders. I had a blast though and can't wait till the next one.

It took all 4 tumbles that night pretty well actually. Combination of darkness and alcohol doesn't help either. Although I was able to climb that same hill with the jk just didn't do so well coming back down.

Thanks Highmark I appreciate it. So I started another project for my southern buggy and made a heavy oversized trailer out of angle iron. It was free material and spare rims and tires I had, so though it's not perfect it does the job.

Due to the weight of my buggy and trailer it's bending the plastic rear bumper on my jeep and I'll need to make a full metal rear bumper likewise I did for the front.

Awesome! I love the combination of two cool rigs and a trailer. Something about it just gets me. I've thought about this. I have a jk body waiting for a build. It looks like it scales out fairly well from the pics. A bunch of these pics went in my project folder! Love it.

It's a shame my dually is so small (well, in terms of scale!)...it would make a perfect tow rig!

Nice find....If the price is 64 euro...that's killer. The only thing is, it may have torque, but probably doesn't have the speed we need to be a functioning ram. Post up any details you find!

I didn't see numbers but I am on my phone - it looks huge in the photo. Im not sure that it will look right. But hell I pray it does. I hate CMS.

ngward79...im looking into picking up some rc4wd dual rates and needed a few Q answered. just wondering how much your buggy weighs and how much your shocks compress under the weight of the buggy. trying to figure out what length to pic up. thanks

Good question...I'm curious too. I weighed my parts separately, and it looks like I'm coming in at 12-13 lbs. I never would have guessed that!

Shock length is also going to depend on ride height and how tall the spacing is from mount to mount though. NG Post up with any info."thumbsup"

thanks bulldog "thumbsup" just trying to get a ruff idea of how much static compression there was verses the wight of the rig too get a rough idea of how much longer i needed to be compared to the mount to mount distance. I understand there r lots of variables like front to rear weight ratio, mounting distance, ride height, spring rate and so on ;-) just trying to make sure i get the right length the first time round. any numbers u got NG would be great "thumbsup"

....guess i should really get a build thread going so every one can see what im working on... only reason i havent is the fact that i have limited time and its my first ever build so updates would be on the slow side :ror: started my build close to 6 months ago and have almost got a roller :lmao:
