SCX 10ii battery relocation for LCG

Looking for ideas/options for battery relocation to have LCG.
I like the idea of running the battery parallel with the front axle.

I used the OG scx10 battery tray with the scx10 ii rear batt tray/crossmember. I drilled 2 holes in the OG batt tray to match the ones in the crossmember. Then i used some of the padded material from traxxas link packaging for paddin the batt tray a bit. Even some under it to keep it from pinchin/rubbin any wires

I added the Samix tray set up this weekend, great piece. Not parallel with the axle but it gets the battery fairly low.

Most of the vs-410 parts bolt right in with minimal mods. This one would mount it horizontally they way you’re wanting.
