scx10 tactic servo

how is the stock tactic servo that is used on the scx10's that are rtr once you gone to a better steering linkage? iam worried that once the stock "noodle" steering linkage is upgraded that the tactic servo will fail.

Mine did it took about a month of daily use. Pick up a promodler or hitec and enjoy your rig. Or get the 5 dollar brass gear and replace the plastic one at the bottom of the gear set.

I have 2 that had the linkage upgraded to stainless steel links and no issues at all..... still working fine after a year....

i have better servos out of my 1/8 stuff but they are not waterproof. and im kind of lazy....

Have 2 fail in 30 days on the yeti. , have a hitech now, but noisy. Just got a Promodeler for the bully,That is the SERVO !!

i can see them failing in a yeti but a scx10 is a much smaller lighter truck.
