Finally settled on a complete item and I'm no stranger to scale builds but being my 1st crawler I wanted to do something different than what I normally see.
Made some GE MiniGuns/Rocket pods for a large scale heli build that went in another direction as a rescue chopper with working winch.
The miniguns scale nicely to this build in a "Zombie" theme. Haven't decided where to mount but I was thinking going doublestack on the passenger side on motorized mount that retracts back into the front passenger side. Also you'll see a sledge hammer joined to a gas circular saw, I actually got that from loot crate its from the DeadRising video game series and its a pen if you remove the hammer lol but it's very detailed. The little tool box/tools are real and I got it years ago I think it may have came with a limited edition Tamiya kit from the 1990's. Pretty sure it was the Izuzu Amigo with the CC01 frame which I wish I hadn't given away a decade ago.
The empty doors are going to be covered with either wire mesh and tube cage or handmade metal armor looking doors with cutouts for miniguns/windows with bullet resistant looking lexan.
The stickers I got from the KCR machinegun shoot in KY and can be found online they are 1" IIRC.
Yoda isn't the driver but sure is cool in more than 1 way...cause he's not driving a Toyota, he actually talks too lol and did anyone notice where Yoda's weapon is??
The exhaust stacks are left over CNC brake reservoir mounting parts from a Suzuki Katana and they are bolted on (going to paint them black and the bolts inside red which I might switch out for red low light LEDs)
Captain Crais from Farscape is my driver now and I have built an armored looking door/window which isn't finished or mounted yet.
I'll update when I have completed more. Let me know what y'all think?
I also took a Blade 130x RedBull Scale and turned it into a PAH-1 Military Helo still flyable for about 3 mins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwlhU0JJ0Yk Sold them both on seperate occasions after I received an offer I couldn't refuse lol.
Here is where I'm at with the Drivers Door
