Scx24 ultra4 chassis wip

We also just held another little guy racing series event over the weekend! Lots of rigs showed up and the new U4 build took the heat 1 and main event win! Extremely stoked on how this car performs can’t wait to build up my other trail ripper chassis design on a second car

Well guys the day has come! After I thought UPS lost my chassis it finally showed up today and it is beautiful. I was so excited I knew I had to build the whole car out tonight and I did just that. I even took it up a notch since this will be my main unlimited class racer for our @littleguyracingseries (look it up on Instagram) I knew I had to go over the top of what all of us thought was possible. Aside from the motor I assembled it with mostly stock suspension to show everyone it’s possible. 6 of the 8 links are factory axial as you can see. Drive shafts are just as the come out of the package I had to trim 1/4” off the rear female and they bolted right in. But of course being my main race rig for unlimited class I had to push the limits and opted for the brushless system. Granted. It does not crawl like stock. The closest thing I can compare it to real life is crawling a Jeep with a stock inline 6 and driving the same jeep with a built LS. It’s a little more touchy with throttle and reverse so im still getting use to that but it really does crawl incredible and it’s going to tear up the open sections of the race courses :flipoff:

Overall the rig came out amazing. Looks beautiful and performs like nothing I’ve ever driven before. You can just feel how low the center of gravity is while driving it it’s incredibly stable and I don’t have any extra weights other than the brass front cover and the 5g at each wheel with hot racing +4 axles.

Here’s all the photos anyone have any tips for posting videos on here?

Hey! Love your little rig! Just wondering what type of printer was used to print this frame out? I had one made up however it looks shocking in comparison to yours!

Love these chassis. I tried to find them on thingiverse with no luck. The link provided seems to have found the end of thingiverse...:lmao: Hope to have my printer fixed soon and would like to test it out with your chassis design. "thumbsup"

@JP98_ who makes those method wheels you are running? I've been looking but can't find them.

I've got 105s on my crawler, 305s on the way for my truck, not to mention a set on the rr10 and camo x4. Might as well do the same on the scx24.

The chassis came out nice. The tube looks nicer. I am jealous of the crawl spot lol very cool.
