Securing a smaller battery in the stock battery tray

For those that run a smaller battery, what do you do to secure the battery? Going to be running a Turnigy 3S 2200mah which measures 108mm x 34mm x 27mm. Just using the stock velcro strap and the adjustable battery posts, the battery slides back and forth pretty easily.

I have some industrial velcro laying around, I was thinking maybe just put that in the tray and on the battery itself.

Any other ideas? Would it be better to put the battery near the front or back of the tray?

Use the little battery posts to sandwich the battery where you want it.

I wrap the wires in as well no problems with mine moving about.

Fold up a piece of corrugated cardboard under it? Don't worry, it won't burn even if it gets real hot--unless your battery catches on fire of course.

With that very battery, I use Velcro tie-down straps in combination with Velcro self-adhesive strips underneath to keep the battery from sliding out from under the straps.

Forward placement is best for climbing, rear for trailing.

Using 3s 1500 with foam to help fill empty trey but really with the strap on the end of Lipo I've never had one come loose.

I run a 3S 3000 mah battery, its just slanted /diagonal in the holder and secured with velcro, work fine.

I can fit 2 of my battery's in the holder and the fit like a glove, but i dont like that much weight up there, and besides i have plans for killing off the current battery location.

Same here, been using the smaller 3s packs from Venom typically.
