Yes, I had a chance to go once when I worked for a business that met the "qualifications" so to speak. Im not sure how affiliated you have to be and to what, but not just anyone off the street can go.

Yes you have to be in the automotive industry to get into SEMA. Im affiliated with Http://www.norcaltruck.com so getting in is no issue. Every year we offer passes to some of our customers. When we send in for our tickets we put them down as employee's of NCT. We usually have a few trucks in the show so we all caravan down there in the rides. Only downfall is when they scan their id cards at vendors booths we get tons of calls asking for joe smith or bob lewis.....

Our 2 installers are 22-23. No degree, just good mechanical skills. they've been doing suspension/ fab work for about 8 years so they know their stuff. Office work is pretty much cake work. Gotta have major product knowledge of suspension and diesel performance product. My boy who owns the business is 28, been in the aftermarket/suspension/ show truck scene for about 12 years.

I could have gone to WEROCK and SEMA. I had a buddy who competed in WEROCK and another body who owns an offroad shop. Dad went, but I had to work. You don't have to be speical to go to the Bunny Ranch...:)
