Hi got a savox sc-1256tg and its over heating and not working properly should i cut the red wire to stop this. thanks for any help.........

If you cut the red wire, it wont work anymore.

Firstly, are you EPA's set properly? You can check by turning to full lock, and listening to the servo, If it's humming, you need to turn your EPA's back until it stos humming (in each direction)

Secondly, check if you EPA's are adjusted properly, you may want to check for binding in the steering system. Disconnect the servo horn and turn the steering by hand. It should turn nice and smooth. If it doesn't diagnose whats causing the bind and eliminate it.

Third, Are you running a BEC? If so. how is it wired up? how many volts is the BEC set up at.\? If it's set above 6V, you justt may be sending too much juice to it.

HOpe this helps
