Lookin' pretty good, man. But how doe she crawl...? ;)

Ditto on the white zip ties. I suggest the small black zip ties (often found in assortment packages of zip ties) or black electrical tape. "thumbsup"
Really, I'd say ditch the padding and just crawl that sucker...tear it up; just keep a can of black spray paint on hand.
If you're really that worried about scratching the cage, you could try a few layers of just black electrical tape around the cage- it would help protect it a little without the added bulk.
I don't know how it would look, but I bet aquarium air tubing would slip over the cage if you cut the tubing down one side: it'd certainly be less bulky, it might be clear enough to see right through, and it might hold on its own without the zip ties. It's cheap - next time I was at the 'Mart I'd try that for a few bucks, and if nothing, the tubing works for other things as well.

lol yea, i see, lol, and it was waterproof for a day, then it didnt really work out becaue it overheated fast, but in that photo i just removed all the electrics lol

right now i dont know, lol sorry, but it can climb like 50 degress with no weight, lol, and and thanks for the tips man, one of the main reasons i used the cushions is becasue if you roll too hard the esc glitches and it takes off like crazy! LOL!

:mrgreen:Well ive made some upgrades! (finally)

i got a new tekin fxr and axail mg995 servo (2.2.... had to make my own servo plate :P... atleast its metal!! try painting the cage with red truck bed paint. they sell it at walmart in spray cans. it'll match the wheels, have a cool textured look, and be extremely durable so you can bash the snot out of it on rocks. the rig looks good though!!

if you take 1 of those double sided velcro straps you can move the batt to the rear servo mount and it will add a lil bit of weight in the ass end and this way with it there you dont have to try n fit your hand in the cage to either take it out or try n plug the charger in

good idaa "thumbsup" but my battery plug in for my tekin is like 1 1/2inches long... i might extend it tho "thumbsup" thanks bro! "thumbsup"

You're brave for admitting that you use Integy parts on this site!

I have to say I liked it with the roll bar padding. I think you just needed to find smaller zip-ties.

It looks good as a scaler too. The rubber bands are a little ghetto, though! I think if you painted them black they'd look a lot better. Nice work, though!

How do you like the Skulz chassis? I think they're so cool looking.
