Hi,

I was looking thru the manual for Twin Hammer off vaterra site, and found that the part VTR232007 seems to indicate a Shift Servo Saver with light spring.
However, the picture from amainhobbies of the same part is a solid part.

Mine is the wltoys clone that is also a solid piece.

Is there multiple versions ?

Yes there is 2 versions solid and servo saver. Unless the hammer is a early version, factory has a servo saver on it. With a quality servo and end points set properly, I say you do not need one. I do not run one at all and never have with no problem.

I was just thinking if it is necessary. I burned out a cheapo corona servo during setup. But that was my fault really. I was adjusting the wrong channel on the radio. So, I was wondering if a servo saver might be useful.

I reckon if I were to use the technique of
1) Not shifting when on throttle
2) After shift, give it a light throttle
It should be alright.
