i have someone interested in a 1/8th buggy im trying to sell but he lives in brazil. he asked for a shipping quote if im willing to send it their.

what is the best way to get the quote? i dont have a box or weight. do i just take the buggy down to the usps shipping office and get a quote or is there an easier way?

Got a bathroom scale and a ruler? That should get you close.

If not, take it down to the PO. "thumbsup"

Don't forget to get insurance and ship it Priority. You'll get a customs # that you and the buyer can track. It may not work all the way to their door, but you'll at least be able to see when it leaves the country.

When I ship out of country I ship First Class. You can track it and still have them sign for it. But its cheeper than Priority!;-)

I always go to my local hobby shop and they always have big boxes from there shipments and they will give them to you. "thumbsup"

If you don't have a box, how are you going to send it anywhere?

i would get one before i mailed it...:flipoff: i just dont have one on hand for dimentions, for on online quote

i figured it would be best to grab the postal code and head to the shipping office for an exact quote. i didnt wanna tell the guy $40 bucks and have it be a sugnificant amount more. better to wast my time to get the right quote then to waste the money.

thanks guys
