i tried searching but it didnt work out too well... what kind of shock oil should i run in my txt, and should i use different oil in different shocks to help out with twist? whats so special about shock oil? can i just put hydraulic oil or engine oil in them?

I couldn't tell you the differences, but I know you'll want heavier oil in the right-rear to help with torque-twist. For my last truck I ran 60wt and then 80wt in the right-rear.

you'll want r/c specific silicone shock oil.

Other oils may destroy the seals in your shocks as well as foam and kill the dampening ability of th shock.

hmmm... i wonder if the hydraulic oul we use here at the shop will work, it doesnt foam, and we use it in excavators, bobcats, loaders, end dumps etc... i think ill just get the r/c specific stuff to be sure.
