When i assembled my shocks i filled the right to the top with oil then got airbubbles out then topped with oil then screwed lid on tight. Now it almost seems that this makes them a little stiff i havent got all my gear in the truck yet so the trucks not at full weight but how stiff should they be ? maybe i put to much oil in ?

I don't belive your supposed to fill them to the top . Take a little out . I leave a little about 1/4 inch space from the top .

Yeah I learned that filling them all the way to the top makes them rock hard!! Just a drop or two out makes a huge difference. I wish the Icons came with bladders!! I like the Wraith stock shocks........maybe I can rob the bladders because I have a spare set of 4 just laying in the garbage pile....lol.

The wraith bladders are too large. The duratrax bladders in the thread I linked to above work perfect. All of my scx shocks get duratrax bladders. I have a product in the works for the other end of the scx shock body too.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate that. Now time to get some bladders. I am not happy with the Icons the way they are now.

Are these the ones : New Duratrax Shock Diaphragm Vendetta St 4 DTXC9182 | eBay

Yup. Make sure you take the oring out of the cap and drill a breather hole in the top of the cap before you install the diaphragm. If you leave the oring in the cap the diaphragm will slip into the body.

Make sure you add green slime to the orings in the cartridge too.

Okay cool and more stuff to buy....I don't have green slime. I don't have a local hobby shop so I have to ebay it or wait.....lol. :)
