Vaterra should make short bumper mounts for the Ascender for those of us who want to run shorter bodies with the bumpers tucked up nice and tight! If I remove the spacers and cut the mounts shorter, there won't be enough plastic left to screw the bumper into even though I've drilled the holes deeper into the end of the mounts.
