So i was thinking of buying a dig but who do you guys shorten your driveshafts to fit the new dig setup?

Do you cut then put back together?

pics or links would be great.......

Looks like we may be talking about 2 different drive shaft setups. I was referring to the AX-10 Kit - 2 piece slider - internal & External.

See Attached: I was referring to cutting the Non-yoke ends (open ends) off.

Thats how I did mine worked like a charm.

ya, maybe take off 1/4 inch off each piece of your rear Dig shaft. fit and try, you may need to trim it a few times to get the right length.

Take your time and cut it cleanly. I used a vice to push a utility knife blade through mine. Clean up your edges so it will slide smooth.

It's better to take off too little a couple of times than too much once!

I know

or you could always buy bulletproof mip dig driveshafts and you wouldnt need to cut anything or ever worry about driveshafts ever again....
