You should put a ham on the top shelf and lit it drip onto the turkey while they are smoking. Good stuff.

Bacon works well for that also. mmmm.

If I am smoking a cut of meat with not a very large fat cap on it I place thick slices of bacon on top so the fat will render down into the meat.

See... the way I look at it is, back in the day, the women looked after the cooking, cleaning, raised the kids etc.

The men mowed the lawn, looked after the home repairs, kept the car running, and disciplined the kids.

Even if both worked it was all good well and balanced.

Nowadays, women, can't cook, don't clean, still can't fix sh!t, so what the heck are they good for?

So now we got all the household duties, plus all the stuff we used to do. We're oxen being worked to death with little to show for it...
