Slash battery question?

This will probably be a different answer than most, but I'll be running a 2S 4900mAh Trakpower Lipo. However, my Slashes will be outfitted with Sidewinder 4600 combos in lieu of the XL-5/Titan.

Everyone around here is planning to run them with 6-cell stick packs. We are wanting to keep them "box-stock" and run a Corr Local Off-Road Series. We want a level planning field, hence 6-cell packs x 10 trucks

Mine will be running the run of the mill bacon powered pack...................

no, seriously I will run standard 6 cells at first then throw in some 7 cells for shits and giggles

Box stock means only 4-6 trucks. Only 4 available channels stock and only 6 total in 27mhz AM.

So far I'll have the stock pack, a Flight Power 5300 2C Lipo pack and I'm working on a 3 cell A123 pack all run through a Sidewinder.

I have a few other Lipo packs on order, so I'll just run the gambit.

As for a motor, thinking of picking up a Medusa motor or perhaps a Castle 4600.

I ran the crap out of mine all day yesterday with 7 cell matched 4600's and with 6 cell 5000's,the 6 cells were much easier to drive on my small and technical track but either way it was very scale and lotsa fun!I am gonna try a Mamba/a123 setup today to see what kinda speed and run time it will produce.
