im going to build my 1st tlt to stock basicly but it will be stretched and maybe some other things. does anybody have pics of a tlt crawler using most of the stock tlt?

I did that, and used the truck once maybe twice before I ripped it apart and rebuilt it.

Just use whatever tranny you want, as long as its small and you can lock it. Then make everything yourself, its not to hard and once you build it you will be proud of it. Especially if it goes over a rock! Hope this helps... take a look threw the galleries here, you will get tons of ideas.

Here's a "stocker" for ya:

Stock TLT chassis/tranny, albeit heavily modified. This is a droop set up, basically just trying everything possible to lower the COG. Tranny is modified with a homebuilt tensioner and a thicker/wider belt out of an HPI Nitro RS4.

Axles are locked via the jammed spider gear method, tranny is locked with JB. Currently running a Integy 55t w/ Rooster Crawler and 2 Towerpro MG945's, controlled by a TQ3. Body is an HPI MX-1...
