No matter how tight I make the slipper clutch it backs off halfway through a pack. Anyone else having this issue?

I would put some blue loctite on the threads and get new lock nut. It shouldn't slip anyway, but with a new nut and some loctite it will stay put for sure.

You don't neeed a new nut unless yours is stripped. Just put some blue loctite on and let it sit a bit before you run it so it has time to cure.
