2WS with 4WS mod moved on its own today for the first time. 11T pinion provides what seems to be a nice crawl speed - we'll see.

But during transmission assembly I noticed the paper/fiber-like disks in there and the exposed adjustment nut. So I guess that this is some sort of a slipper clutch? I only drove it for a couple of minutes around the floor testing out the various steering modes and I noticed quite a bit what seemed like slipping. And then I tried to climb over my shoe and it just stopped at it and the motor was spinning so I guess it's too loose.

The manuals these days are for people that only know how to look at pictures so there's no explanation about this.

What do I do - just tighten it until what - until it doesn't slip? Or is there more to this story?

I like it to slip when something binds, so it protects the rest of the drivetrain. So tighten a bit, test, repeat. Until it doesn't slip when climbing normally. It'll probably still slip if it gets stuck somewhere, and that's the point.

I tighten all the way, then back off 1/4 turn...
