Snow bikes... awsome

that looks kick*** i wish they had those at ruidoso NM because i just got back from there and i would have checked them out!!

I know there awesome i want to build one. I just need some skis. How hard is it to do? Is it closer to biking or snowboarding? Because i am horrible at boarding i basicly fall off the mountain, but im pretty nice on a bike. Would you ride it the same as a bike or is it more of a snowboard with bars? And can you ride trails (bike jump kind not ski slope) ?

its hard to say what its closer too, its really just a mix of both, but u have to lean and carve to turn instead of turning with the handlebars. but im sure that you could catch onto it pretty fast since your good at bikeing. you can hit jumps too.

ehhh...there not that cool...my friend got one and its kinda lame..fun but theres nothing better than true street

i think ill stick with my 20 inches of pure luv and throwing myself down handrails

now that I could do. i hate skiing, I won't snowboard guz its $ and too trendy. but snowbmx. i like it. maybe i'll cut up a bmx bike.

I agree skiing sucks. But If you like to skate or surf snowboarding is awsome. And you don't have to be one of the trendy punks either.

I used to work at Snow Valley in So-Cal for years. I worked the lifts then tought snowboarding.

Yea T1 its allways fun throwing yourself down a handrail. Especialy missing a peg and catching one of the support rails. :x

I used to do some insane snowtubing. Ive got a backhoe loader that id make a monster doubble with half the time the tube would blow out when id land. I try rubber rafts to towed behind a snowmobile so much fun so insane and so dangerous when you flip at 60mph or they blow out .

I was snowboarding at Copper Mountain in Colorado & discovered that you can rent them.
Looks fun, but I don’t know about crashing off a jump with that thing between my legs. 8O

I just got into snowbmx with some friends. We went up to the mountain last saturday.... had more fun doing this than snowboarding. You guys should check out the video on this site and the forum if you want. ... www.crighton.com

Grrrr!

C'mon guys, this isn't AIM.

Reading things like "u should try it cuz its fun 2 do" is not only a PITA to read, but seems like something a 13 year-old on AIM would do. :?

I'm not trying to give you crap for it, just trying to persuade you to type so everyone here can easily understand you.

When we're online the only thing we have available to gauge one another with is how well we communicate.

I automatically assume that there's a young kid at the computer when I see things like "cuz", "u", "2", "dat", and so on.

It might seem cool or faster to type out, but nearly half the time I see stuff like that I skim right over it.

If people don't put effort into speaking or typing clearly, why should I put the effort into deciphering what they're trying to say?

Like I said...not giving you crap, just trying to get you to type clearly.

anyway, back to the topic....

I bought one of these snowbikes and they are badass

you guys have to try these!.
