I am assembling some AA packs, and have seen some of you using soldering braid. Where did you get it? LHS has no clue, any help?

I've used braid on some hump pakcs I hacked into a 6 cell for my 18th scale buggy... Get it at The Source/Radio Shack depending where ya live.. It's AKA solder removal brad, solder sucker braid and de-soldering braid... Works like a charm.... But be fast with the solder... It will chase up fairly fast and make it rather rigid...

Brass works good for small packs as well if you cannot find the small battery connectors or braid. I used that when I made a 2300mah RX pack from Racer's Edge AA's.

If you are having trouble finding some, I have plenty of both small battery bars and desoldering braid. Both work great for small packs, battery bars are better suited for 2/3A size cells because of the higher current, AA cells are fine with desoldering braid.
