Ok, Discovery Channel’s “Son’s of Guns” is supposed to start back up tonight. Do the world a favor and stop watching this show. It started out, ok, but the BS behind the show is now WAY beyond dumb. Like in the Desert Eagle episode, (@ 1m22sec in vid) shows her holding the DE *hear shot* then oh look (@ 1m26sec) she’s holding a Berretta. The love triangle BS and the crap like full auto spinning AR’s is doing nothing good for the image of gun enthusiasts. Throw in the American Chopper level of drama and temper tantrums... anyway.. just let the show die.

I agree on the love drama crap, that crap needs to go.
I just fast frwd past all that anyhow.

You look closer on this forum, & you will see drama here as well

Well, the people that already stopped watching it, will not be watching it. But now you may have gotten others interested in seeing what all the shit is you brought up. Kinda counter productive dont you think, pr do you? :flipoff:
 
I never watch them first run, but inevitably some lazy Sunday Discovery will have a marathon of it, and with nothing else on I'll watch it... at least until the nap happens.:mrgreen:

People need to realize, everything dies, all TV programs go away, eventually, if you don't like it, just don't watch it.
It's just another great example of people trying to force their values and beliefs on someone else.
We are the United States, because we have FREEDOMS. Freedom to speak, bear arms, question our government, vote, practice ANY religion, and due process are just a few..
You absolutely have your right to speak your mind about the program. You also have the choice to NOT WATCH IT..

Howard Stern is the classic example. More people hated his guts, for the things he said and did on the radio, than liked him.
The funny part. The people that hated his guts, listened to him more than the people that liked him.
Just my $.02 worth....
 
Wasn't trying to force my opinion on others. Just voicing mine. Was hoping there would be more that felt the way I did with the number of gun nuts on here. There are plenty more shows on TV that do shooting sports and guns in general better justice.

Wasn't sure what direction my post would have went here when I made it, but world doesn't need another show like American Chopper and sadly Sons of Guns is running full steam that direction.
 
Like the guns, hate the drama but, supposedly its not scripted. The problem is, drama gets ratings so they show it.

Drama happens, and that's ok, but when its manufactured and offered as actual, its not.

RCC drama for the most part is actual drama.

And yeah, its sad that people would rather watch other people have interesting (or somewhat exciting) lives instead of doing something with their own.

My sis-in-law's fiance, who does editing for many reality shows, told us it's pretty much all scripted.

You can't tell me, that any businessman with half a brain and the biggest build ever on his hands would let his top gunsmith walk because of giving the job to the inexperienced apprentice who is boinking his daughter.
 
This is funny, I was watching it today, and it's on now. For Wil, sure your the boss and need to be stern, but he can show a little bit of kindness toward his workers; and his daughter is a flake; one of the workers says to her that his pay check wasn't the correct amount again and she says what do you want ME to do about it and jumps down the guys throat, when she fills the Fk'ers out,Fk her!.. The worker said I just want you to correct it and she bitched at him again AND He told her that all of this tv shit is going to her head! She shit out her tampon when she heard that!!!hehehe! Bch! Amer. Chopper?!! Oh God! When junior was workin with senior;freekn late all the time when everyone else have been workn for an hour already! I worked in a fab shop like that, my x bosses brother was the "One Hour Hero", his nickname was Hudini ! Literally broke my back workn for them, Six spinal fusions! A mix of Drama and bad karma , life is too short and I'm to old for it,I just walk away from it!.. anyway"thumbsup"

Being a vet of 10 years active duty service you obviously have no clue how much they have dedicated to the law enforcement and the soldiers that give you your rights and die for you everyday to keep this country safe. Yeah the love drama needs to stop but they are so far ahead of your so called gun enthusiasts that you do not have a clue. I spent 6 years as a small arms instructor, which included ar-15's to grenade launchers, 50 cals, 240s, m60s and everything out there. They have blown away most companies with what they have brought to the table to the military for defending this country. Think before your make some bs comment, if you have something better than what they are putting out let me know. I will gladly direct you to the right people so you can get a contract.

First how in the hell do you connect me bitching about a show to not supporting military or the country? I have had family in multiple branches military in every armed conflict since WWII, lost some in each. In recent years have lost two cousins to Iraq, and have one cousin and a couple good friends in Afghanistan right now. so kindly shove it. "thumbsup"

as for the show, if they had stuck to the way they started, about the guns, fine. Where they are now is retarded. Who cares who's bangin who, and who needs a jacked up half ass Gatling gun made of hacked AR's. In one show Vince wanted a head space gauge Will told him he didn't need it he could see it was fine. Um yeah I want them building a rifle for me, how bout no. Who in their right mind drops ~300k+ on a CNC and not have someone trained to use the dam thing before it shows up? Its a STUPID show, and is getting worse.

I have seen their AR's, they are not that special. Don't care for AK's, and Saiga shotguns are not all that and a bag of chips. They do have some nice suppressors from what I have heard, never personally used one.
