So I was just doing a little research...and was wondering why I haven't read anything about anybody using the lowest priced Spektrum "sport" aircraft stick radio for crawling use?

The DX5e does have limitations, but regardless of not having a graphic screen for computer settings, it still seems to be a great 5 channel transmitter and receiver for under $100. I'm not sure if the 5th channel is 2-pos or 3-pos...but otherwise...doesn't this radio seem to be a fantastic alternative to the DX3e pistol radio with only 3 channels?

What am I missing?

I tried it on my LCC and couldn't get the hang of it, ended up buying DX3e for the LCC and will be using the DX5e on my Supercub LP instead....

I have used one for 4-5 months with no problems. Only paid $73 shipped to the house. I like stick radios, and no epa's haven't hindered performance at all.
