Quarry Creeper
Myself and my son had a meet today with Wallaz at a place called Staithes. It is about 12 miles north of Whitby on the east coast. Had a brilliant time meeting Wallaz and also playing with the trucks. There are some large rocks that have been used to make a "harbour wall" and these rocks have drops between them of around 5 feet. You can however pick out a route with a clod sized truck and by placing your foot in the hole where your truck will dissapear lots of fun can be had. This area though is to difficult for a TLT sized vehicle. Adjacent to the "harbour wall' is the base of the cliffs. This area has long stone plateaux and many small vertical walls of stone and is perfect for a TLT sized vehicle. There is a couple of places to eat and also a couple of pubs if you desire. The only difficulty is the parking. You have to park in a car park which is at the top of a steep road so you do have a bit of a climb. We are looking forward to meeting with Wallaz again. Perhaps others may wish to join us for a day?
