I have an idea for a steering lock-out on my Berg axle. Check out the pics. and let me know what you think. They would be simple to install.

I also noticed the N.A. Berg axle shares a lot of parts with the HR axles / tranny. Here is the Berg tube on the HR tranny .
I'm sure someone has figured that out before I did. Just noticed it today myself.

Simple and they looks well designed. I'd say make a set to test.

Of course I'd help you test them "thumbsup"

How does it have anything resembling a feeler thred? Rediculous.

A clever idea, the only thing I don't like is the slightly reduced clearance and the minimal material to hold the load. Test, and make sure tolerances are tight.

Thanks for the input. I have looked around and havn't seen anything else like these. I planed on making them out of steel. should be plenty of material to handle the loading. Plus the steel will add a little bit of weight.

Not a feeler. I am making these for my own rig. If you are looking for something like this just wait a few weeks until Integy or one of the other hack companies copies the idea and sells a sloppy don't quite fit right version for 10 bucks."thumbsup"

Sounds like a feeler thread....It will get deleted

Thanks for your insightful input. I really needed the new perspective on the fit and finish of my "not for public sale" parts that I make in my own shop just for me to use. NOT FOR SALE - NOT FOR SALE!!! I don't want anymore simpletons to get CornFused!:lmao:
