STRC 30 Deg Bend Links

tou need the traxxas 4mm ball ends! or jato ends but with those links jatos might be too long!

these are pretty sweet links I have been fondling them all week at my LHS

i think most use the traxxas rod ends. something like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJJ81&P=SM

Which one is better? The above one or this one:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHGB7&P=ML

I have already bought the latter and it's coming in the mail maybe tomorrow.

By the way, with regards to the 4 lower links, do you have to screw the all-thread all the way on the aluminum tube until it stops? It looks like there's only a third left for the rod ends.

Thanks.

they turned out great. kinda a weird angle for the axles though. the drive line isn't straight as id like, but it does work great. haven't got a chance to hit the rocks yet since its so late, and its snowy and wet anyways"thumbsup"

NO YOU DONT. you dont even have it. i fliped the lower link mounts and it made the angle better. the top link is the thing that is to long

yea the top is too long. but if you switch your lower link / shock mounts on their sides ( like most people do anyways ) it fixes it. they work great, dont get cought up and flipped backwards on rocks anymore. plus i put some stick on weight on my front wheels. about 3 oz. workin great ill get new pix of the new angle soon."thumbsup" p.s. i got some axial beadlocks too, just needa get some tires now lol. prolly losi crawlers.

yours is turing out like my friend crawler king 17's. blue kit and axial bedlocks.

i like mine, but havent tested it but next weekend im going to. im running 1.9 trail docs so i need the clerance. i remember my rer links stopping my truck and the link mounts. that problem should be gone now.

trouble

so im havin some problems with my link setup. installed with the link/shock mounts in their normal position, the driveline is at a bad angle, that makes it so it dosent roll as smooth. prolly just a little more stress on the motor. then people said just rotate your link mounts to extend the lower links a little. i did that and it did straighten the driveline but now the drive line hits the rocks before my links. any suggestions on what i should do? heres some pics. thanks guys. i thought about moving the link to the lower hole but dont think that would help enough.

left is the shock mount in normal position, right is it on its side.
