Well, Its official! NOSTR (Northern Ohio Scale Trail Runners) will be setting up a booth and scale crawling course at the 2013 Piston Powered AutoRama at the IX Center in Cleveland, OH. THIS WEEKEND!

March 15th to 17th!

Anyone near NE Ohio should stop on up and say hello! This is being boasted as THE largest custom car and vehicle show ever held in the WORLD! (their words, not mine! Lol) Over 1000 vehicles and more than 1 million square feet of show space!

Day 1 was a success! Great time, good crowd and a very positive reaction from all who stopped by! Thanks to NitroJeff, MicroGoat, bikerruss, Cameron, and Aiden for putting on a good show! "thumbsup"

They stuck us back in a corner of the South Hall, but we got a good amount of traffic.

Elsewhere in the show:

This enormous hunk of iron is a Pratt-Whitney Wasp Major. 36 cylinders of radial awesomeness, 1850 HP. This one looks like it was torched out of a plane and just hit the ground. Gonna take some work to get it running again.

If you're building a Fast Attack Vehicle, this is what it should look like.

Still not sure if I like this or not. On the one hand, a Mustang had to die to make it. On the other hand, it was probably pretty far gone.

I'd probably need a gurney to get into this one.

Seems I can't go anywhere without a rusty IH following me around. This one's a year newer than the one I had, and not quite as rusty :shock:

Even the floor is broken. There's a trail of Jag parts all over the course.

Had a great time at this show! Literally THOUSANDS of people at our booth from opening Friday to Close on Sunday! Many positive impressions made on our hobby to people who never knew these rigs even existed! "thumbsup"

Thank you to Tower Hobbies for the donations and promotional material to hand out! For the others who chose not to participate...I feel you missed a great opportunity. Oh Well...There is always next year!
