so i have searched here and googled and messaged super shafty customer care and no answer....so i turn to my fellow hobbyist!!!

i got a SCX10 HR trans...and ordered a motor plate and top shaft to really make it bomb proof.

motor plate was perfect. i had to trim a spur cover tab off , you could really tell the difference.

beefy top shaft is another story. if the idea of the top shaft is to make it bigger and stronger then wouldn't the bearing need to change...that's my problem. i put a new set of fast Eddie bearings in too, and it will not slide over the shaft. (i cant believe i just typed that)

any ideas what is wrong. everyone else i have read mention nothing about this. any input would be great.

I've had to de-bur the edge of the pin hole in the top shaft for the bearing to slide passed it. Never had an issue with it not physically fit over the shaft if the bearing is correct.

Supershafty is somewhat down right now due to the owner moving into a new place so bare with them as they get settled in!
