super slicks....do i have the right one?

i found a super slicks mt at my local toys r us...but i dont think its the right one...
its not like the ones with the solid axles but will it work...

Wrong one. It will probably work for a small scale crawler, but the performance won't be as good. That model has the motor on the rear axle and shafts that run through the chassis to the front, which has the steering gear built in. They are big and clunky, so not as scale as the old ones with a chassis mounted motor and steering.
 
yeah, wrong one. However I did manage to drive one like that completely submerged in water for about 5 minutes and it still works. :lol:
Good luck finding a 1/43. There's a bunch of us idiots trying to find them and having no luck. I'd trade my left nut for one.
 
haha thats awesome...well i may use it so i can have a submarine jeep haha...

but yea i still want one of the old ones....

Braceysdad shutup LOL I want one! I got one from outcast but I want another maybe! I bought a XRC last night and the tires are frikin soft! I thought they would be okay, but man these are like moabs without foam soft!!!
