Krawlfreak wheels and tires look killer but cant find them to buy or a build thread or the bwd cant get a price and sizing

Both were limited runs, and the DNA's will more than likely never see the light of day again. Check the classifieds for them.

I think Crawlfreak will make you a set, but they might have been limited as well.

I run Losi Zombie's on a 4.5" rim and love them, they pull lines like no other in most conditions. The driver makes the majic happen-sometimes not.

But I have been experimenting with Panthers, not Plowboys, and man o man those tires work!! Tyler and Joe know.

I think in the super class if you are going to the new trend of tires,tall and skinny, the Sedona is a good one to work with and the Rover is too, I have a ton of time into making 2.2 tires big, and functional.

But on a continued basis I have seen a good driver running Moab xl's do work.

What kind of budget do you have to work with and how serious are you?

Custom 3.2 eritex aluminum and delrin rims with cut and shut HB rover whites. Stuffed with Nova foams

Yeah they're a little dodgy but for the first time I cut and shut I'm happy.

the latest tires/wheels that i made are the best ive run yet. I use the blast spoke wheels and narrow them fairly simple and with the new age of the streering super a very light combo when coupled with a SUPER XL ROVER white. I narrow the wheels and glue them back together. cut the sidewalls out of moab xls stretch them over the 4.5 inch wheels. cut the bead out of the rovers to the rib on the side wall and depending on how much moab side wall you use you can achieve around an 8.25-8.5" Rover. They work awesome. I use Crawler innovations foams.
