Cool guy was kind enough to send me these Bulldog cases to do some R&D. So - we will try this build thread thing.

Here is what I had starting out. Some of the basic, normal Berg stuff....
  • T1E Special Ops Chassis
  • Lower titanium links
  • Velvet shocks
  • 300s axial offset
  • Hulk style rear titanium axles
  • Vanquish 8 degree knuckles and C's
  • Clover tubes - front and back

More to come.

Putting the axles together now.

Here is the rear axle before....

Here are the old cases....

Here are the new cases.....

I may have to view this thread on my computer to see! Looks like a lot of sweet parts!! First impressions on the boxes??

Worked more on the rig today.

This is the before weight of the axle.

Got the rear axle all finished up. The rear mount wasn't in the right spot. Had to do some adjusting.

This is before - with the MFD mount...

I just wanted to roll the mount down - so I had to put more holes in the case - no biggie....

Rolled the MFD mount down so it rested right on the motor....

This is how it turned out....

Got home from work today and had to thrash on this rig to get it ready for a fun comp tomorrow. So I've been working for hours and I got quite a bit done. Front axle went together really well. Everythjing is really close.

Axle / before weight....

Axle all finished up - after weight....

Everything went back together real nice Can't wait to get this thing out tomorrow. Here is the weight after just changing the cases....

Looking real nice brother"thumbsup" Good luck with it tomorrow and drive it like you stole it:mrgreen: I'm hoping to get mine on the test pile tomorrow.

Took the truck out yesterday and I have to say it drove better than it has in a long time. Very pleased with the fit and finish of these cases.
