My son has the scx10 jeep cr edition. He has had it about one month. It came equipped with the Tactic tsx45 servo. Now when the truck is powered up the servo turns the wheels to the right and it keeps trying to turn further to the right. I have pulled this servo and powered it in a new scx10 deadbolt and it reacts the same. This truck probably only has 10 hours on it and nothing too hard at this point.

Do you guys think this servo is toast?

Did it get wet by any chance , If so the board inside maybe shorting out. Some times you can open them up and dry them out , I've even put servo's and ESC in a bog of rice to draw the water out.

I'll give axial a call. The truck hasn't been any wetter than maybe dew on the grass early morning driving. Hopefully axial will help me out as it's still a pretty new truck.

There is one plastic gear on the TSX45 servo and it's probably stripped. i stripped mine fairly quickly but found a metal replacement for it and haven't had an issues since. PM me for info on the metal gear to replace the plastic one and make all the gears metal.

Would a stripped gear make the servo jump to the right when powered on? I opened it up to look for obvious signs of trouble and gears and the board on the back looked fine.

Hi guys,

I just encounter these problem with my 2mnths old RR10 Bomber. And I am new to these hobby so I do not have an idea on what is going on. By the comments shared I will try those.
